1.  What is Dynamic Search?

Dynamic Search was launched in 2010 as an online business directory to partner with DynamicBusiness.com.au.  There are over 1.2 million Australian businesses listed on the search engine for free.

2.  How did my company get listed on Dynamic Search?

Most companies create their own listings to ensure their details are up to date and accurate by clicking on the create your own business listing today. It’s absolutely free. You may find your listing has been displayed as a result of:

  • company details were listed by a staff member in the company
  • company information is publically available on the internet

3.  Why is another business listed first?

As with all search engines, businesses appear first depending on their ranking and followed by alphabetical ordering.  Search engine ranking to dependant upon the level of detailed information provided in the company listing.  For example, your ranking is high when you provide greater information relevant to the search term.  Relevant information can be found in:

  • the company business web address
  • the company business description
  • the details provided in the business product and service categories

4.  Why is my business email address not displayed with my listing?

Dynamic Search is unable to show your business email address due to privacy laws.  You can update your business email address simply by clicking on the update my account link located on your company’s listing page.

6.  How do I contact a business listed on Dynamic Search using an email?

Most businesses listed on Dynamic Search will provide an email address with the listing, simply click on the link located directly under the business contact details and you will be able to email them directly.   Some businesses will not provide an email address and no link will be displayed, simply use the contact details provided to contact the business directly.

5.  Why is there a business email address and an administrator email address?

The business email address is associated with the business listing page and is what potential customers will use to direct any questions to you.  The administrator email address is what you use to login in to your account and how the team at Dynamic Search will make contact with you regarding your listing.  The business email address and administrator email address can be the same or totally separate, this is totally up to you.

7.  Where do I add my business contact details?

Simply click on the Login located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  After you have entered your email address and password, your current listing will be displayed together with a box titled my account.  In this section you can select from several edit options.  Select edit contact details located on the left hand side of the screen.  Provide details of your services and products, and any other information that will make your business standout from your competitors.  Make sure you highlight all these details in your business description.

8.  How do I change/update my business details that are already on Dynamic Search?

Simply click on the Login located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  After you have entered your email address and password, your current listing will be displayed together with a box titled my account.  In this section you can select from several edit options located on the left hand side of the screen.

Alternatively, your can find your business listing on Dynamic Search and click on is this you? update now.

9.  What happens if I forgotten my password?

Go to any page of Dynamic Search, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Login .  Click on Forgot your password? Type in your email address and select Resend Password, you will receive an email with your new password as soon as possible.

10.   Can I have more than one administrator for Dynamic Search?

Dynamic Search can only provide access for one administrator for a business.

11.  How do I change the business description on my listing?

Simply click on the Login located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  After you have entered your email address and password, your current listing will be displayed together with a box titled my account.  In this section you can select from several edit options, click on edit business description and you will be able to make your changes.  Remember to click on the orange button save changes once you have finished.

12.  How do I create an outstanding business description?

The business description section is where you make your business standout.  It is important to explain and highlight the services and products you provide, and where you can be found.   Try and think like a customer, use words and phrases that people may use to describe your business, service, or product/s.   Search engines respond well to the repetition of phrases so repeat the business name as much as possible in your description.

13.  How do I add other Product and Service categories to my listing?

Simply click on the Login located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  After you have entered your email address and password, your current listing will be displayed together with a box titled my account.  In this section you can select from several edit options, click on edit my products & services, and you will be able to make changes.  Remember to click on the orange button add product once you have finished.

14.  Where do I send my comments/suggestions?

Dynamic Search welcomes any comments and suggestions you may have, please click on Contact Us located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  Type in your comments/suggestions and remember to click on the orange button submit once you have finished.  Dynamic Search will reply to you as soon as possible.

15.  How do I advise Dynamic Search about listing errors, eg. change of address or telephone number.

Contact Dynamic Search by clicking on Contact Us located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  Provide us with as much detail about the error you have identified and remember to click on the orange button submit once you have finished.  Dynamic search appreciates your assistance with updating the search engine so we can provide the best possible results to our customers.

16.  I do not understand my error message.

Please contact Dynamic Search by clicking on Contact Us located at the bottom of each Dynamic Search page.  Provide us with as much detail about the error message you have received and include the message.  Dynamic Search will respond to your request as soon as possible.
